Violations of traffic regulations result in an abortion of the national driving linence exam

Traffic collision.

Driving around a vehicle which is driving in the same direction, but which stopped in order to give way to pedestrians.

Overtaking another vehicle on or in a close proximity of a pedestrian crossing.

Failure to give way to a pedestrian on a pedestrian crossing.

Failure to give way to another vehicle which turns into a crosswise road, or to a pedestrian crossing the road into which the examinee has just turned.

Not stopping the vehicle when a disabled person, a specially marked person, or a person with visible moving disability is crossing the road.

Failure to give way to pedestrians during the reversing maneuver.

Failure to observe:

  • traffic lights,
  • signals and orders given by persons authorised to direct traffic,
  • signals and orders given by persons authorised to control traffic,

Failure to observe traffic signs:

  • "no entry,"
  • "no traffic in both directions,"
  • "no left turn,”
  • "no right turn,"
  • "regulatory sign,"
  • "a double solid line,"

Failure to yield the right way:

  • at a crossroads with equal rights of way,
  • at a crossroads with signs indicating the right of way,
  • to rail vehicles,
  • to cyclists,
  • when changing a lane,
  • in case of lanes crossing (not at a crossroads) for vehicles moving in the same direction,
  • when merging with traffic,
  • when reversing.

Failure to observe a turning around ban sign.

Exceeding the speed limit by 20 km/h.

Overtaking another vehicle without due care.

Failure to observe the overtaking maneuver ban:

  • on cyclist crossings and directly before them,
  • when approaching the top of a hill,
  • on curves marked by a warning sign,
  • at crossroads,
  • on railway crossings and directly before them,
  • on tram crossings and directly before them.

Failure to observe a overtaking maneuver ban sign.

Overtaking from the wrong side.

 

EVALUATION CRITERIA:

During the evaluation of qualifications, the examiner pays special attention to:

  • the manner of performing the maneuvers on the road,
  • the examinee's behaviour in reation to other traffic participants,
  • the ability to evaluate the true risks and dangers on the road,
  • the drive's dynamism and driving culture,
  • the manner of using the steering mechanisms of the vehicle.
