PAYMENTS
Theory exam for each driving licence category and permission:
22 zloty – in case it is carried out in the written form of a test or by means of the examination computers
40 zloty – in case it is an oral exam
Practical exam:
140 zloty - categories A1, A
112 zloty - category B
135 zloty - categories B1, C1, D1
160 zloty - categories C, D, B+E
195 zloty - categories C1+E, C+E, D1+E, D+E
The disabled who hold a medical certificate with a note stating that he or she can drive a vehicle which is adapted to the disability pay 50 % of the charge for the practical exam. In such cases, the exam is performed in a vehicle possessed by a disabled person.
Candidates may resign from taking the exam and get a full refund providing they resign no later than 1 working day prior to the appointed exam date. Otherwise, candidates are entitled to get a 50 % refund. In order to get the said refund, it is required to fill in an appropriate form.
Should a candidate fail to appear on the practical exam, he or she can sign up for a new exam date having paid 50% of the exam charge. Having taken the theory and practical exams but failed the theory exam, a candidate is required to pay the full price of the theory exam and 50 % of the practical exam price.
The examinee may request that the supervising examiner participated in the exam. In this case, the price for the exam increases by 50 %.
REQUIREMENTS FOR DRIVING LICENCE EXAM
The person willing to apply for driving licence is required to submit the following documents in an administrative unit authorised to carry out the national exam:
- application,
- one photograph taken without a hat (3.5 x 4.5 cm),
- exam payment certificate,
- medical certificate confirming that the person satisfies the medical standards required for driving vehicles,
- certificate confirming the completion of the basic training course,
- certificate confirming the completion of the additional training course--if a candidate fails either the theory or practical exam three time,
In case a candidate is minor (less than 18 years old), parents’ or guardian's written permission is required.
An examiner may refuse to perform the exam:- if it is impossible the determine a candidate's identity (the person is then considered absent);
- if a candidate is in a state of intoxication or refuses to undergo an intoxication test (the person is considered to have failed the exam);
- if a candidate tries to corrupt an examiner by offering money in order to pass the exam (the person is considered to have failed the exam);
- due to weather conditions of other circumstances preventing an objective course of the exam (without any financial consequences for the candidates).
The exam is aborted by an examiner:
- if an examinee cheats during the exam (by means of some additional materials or devices);
- if the behaviour of an examinee poses a threat to traffic;
- if an examinee causes a situation that poses a threat to health and life of other traffic participants during either parts of the practical exam;
- if an instructor participating in the exam disturbs or hinders the exam procedures;
- if an examinee violates traffic regulations in the manner specified in the table;
- if an examinee, or instructor present at the exam, tries to corrupt an examiner by offering money in order to pass the exam;
- if the device responsible for recording the exam fails.
The exam may be aborted:
- at an examinee's request (the person is considered to have failed the exam);
- if a supervising examiner declares that the exam procedure regulations have been breached (the examinee is then considered absent).
